We were delighted to receive a visit from the T-STONE team today led by Deputy Minister Lin and Director General Ou. We also welcomed Prof Iain Stewart, Professor of Geoscience Communication, Sustainable Earth Institute School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences, and Dr Souran Catterjee, Lecturer in Energy Transitions -Environmental Management & Sustainability, both of University of Plymouth, along with Tim Jones Chair of Great South West Internationalisation Board and his colleague James Fairbairn.
The T-STONE team are working hard to deliver significant increase in the levels of geothermal energy used in Taiwan, and have been visiting sites across Europe in a move to improve international collaboration.
No visit would be complete without a visit to the Eden Project biomes, now heated by deep geothermal heat supplied by Eden Geothermal.
