Resources for schools – Eden Geothermal

We’ve produced some free-to-access resources for teachers who would like to explore geothermal energy with their Key Stage 2 students – available below.

The British Geological Survey (BGS) have also produced some excellent resources to support an interdisciplinary lesson on geothermal energy for 7–11 year olds. They include a teacher guide, an introductory video, three worksheets and a class certificate. You can access these at Geothermal energy – British Geological Survey (bgs.ac.uk)

A video and accompanying resources aimed at Year 10 students, produced by our friends at Exeter Science Centre in collaboration with Dr Adam Feldman of the University of Exeter, is also available below.

Join Eden Geothermal Drilling Engineer Robbie Bilsland as he takes us on a tour of the Bentec 450 Eurorig used to drill the geothermal well at Eden
