Galvanising Geothermal
We were delighted to take part in the REA’s 2026 Geothermal Conference last week, where Katie White OBE MP (Minister for Climate Transition) gave HM Government’s view on Geothermal.
Gus Grand, Eden Geothermal’s CEO, is pictured below taking part in the first panel discussion of the day “Demand – Current State of Play” along with Perran Moon (MP for Camborne and Redruth), Michael Moggerridge (Qvantum Energy), Emma Fletcher (Octopus Energy) and Dr Douglas Parr (Greenpeace UK).
Once again Cornwall was able to demonstrate its importance to the UK Deep Geothermal industry. As well as Gus, other panellists on the day included: Caroline Carroll (Cornwall Council), Ola Zawalna (Cornwall Mining and Geo-Resources Alliance), and Ryan Law (Geothermal Engineering Ltd).
It is great to see that the REA is backing geothermal.
